Does the game cost anything?
No. Memory Maze is entirely free. It does not sell coins, does not sell items for real money and shows no advertising.
Can I play without registering an account?
No. Vietnamese law on the management of online games requires every player to register an account with their full name, date of birth and a Vietnamese mobile number, verified with a one-time code, before playing. You register once; on a new device or after a reinstall you simply sign in again.
Why do I have to enter a phone number?
It is a legal requirement in Vietnam for every online game, so that players can be verified and the playtime rules for players under 18 applied correctly. The number is used only to send verification codes and to make contact when needed; the publisher sends no marketing messages.
My child is under 16 — how do I register?
A parent or legal guardian registers the account with their own name, date of birth and phone number, then enters the child's date of birth. The server applies playtime limits based on the child's date of birth. The guardian is responsible for supervising playtime and content, and can contact the hotline at any time.
I changed phone — how do I get my progress back?
Install the game on the new device and sign in with the same Google, Apple or Facebook account you used before. Progress, stars and coin balance are restored from the server.
I signed in with the wrong account and lost everything. Now what?
Nothing is lost. Each sign-in method belongs to its own account — sign out and back in with the original one and it is all there. If you have played on both, the game shows a side-by-side comparison so you can choose which to keep; it never merges or overwrites on its own.
Why do I get the same maze again when I retry?
That is deliberate. You improve by gradually learning a maze across attempts, not by being handed an easier one. Keeping the maze unchanged is what makes the learning meaningful.
Do expensive outfits make me faster?
No. Outfits change appearance only. They have no effect on movement speed, time, visibility or coin collection. A player in the default outfit is exactly as capable as one in the most expensive.
Can I buy coins with money?
No, and that will not change. Coins are earned only through play: picked up in mazes, awarded the first time you get 3 stars, awarded the first time you clear a stage, and paid by daily quests.
Do I get more coins for replaying an old maze?
No. Each maze pays its coin reward exactly once per account. Replaying still counts for stars and best times, but awards no further coins.
What is energy, and what happens when it runs out?
Every entry into a maze uses 1 point of energy; an account holds up to 10 points and 1 point comes back every 15 minutes, free of charge. When you run out you can wait, or use an energy refill bought with coins in the shop (30 coins restores 5 points). Energy is never sold for real money and there are no ads to refill it. Abandoning a run, or losing the connection for more than 60 seconds, returns that run's point.
How do daily quests work?
Each day brings three small quests, such as "clear 3 stages" or "collect 15 coins", paying 8–12 coins each. Unfinished quests are kept for up to 3 days and then replaced. Completing quests on consecutive days builds a streak, which counts towards the "Seven Days" badge.
Does the leaderboard show my real name?
No. The leaderboard shows only an anonymous name assigned by the game, alongside your best time on each stage. There are no public profiles, no friend lists and no messaging between players.
What is the memory passport?
It is the page that records your journey: every landmark you clear earns a stamp, and six badges mark milestones such as clearing your first stage, earning 3 stars, clearing a stage without re-opening the map, stamping every landmark, earning 100 coins and finishing quests seven days in a row.
Is the game available in English?
Yes. On first launch the game follows your device language; you can switch between Vietnamese and English on the Sign-in or Account screen, and the choice is remembered.
What are content packs, and do they cost anything?
Content packs are new landmarks downloaded inside the game, extending the journey without an app-store update. Each pack is integrity-checked before it is loaded, and packs are entirely free.
Why did my child's session stop partway through?
For accounts of players under 18 (by registered date of birth) playing in Vietnam, the server applies a legal limit of 60 minutes per session and 180 minutes per day. The daily counter resets at 00:00 Vietnam time.
I entered the wrong date of birth. How do I fix it?
A date of birth can be set only once in the game. To change it, contact the support hotline with valid supporting grounds. Note that deliberately misstating your age to evade playtime limits is an administrative offence.
Can a guardian manage a child's playtime?
Yes. Guardians can contact the hotline to ask for help supervising or limiting playtime, and to view, correct or erase the data of the person in their care.
How do I delete my account, and can I undo it?
Send the request inside the game, on the Account screen. It takes effect after a 7-day grace period — signing in again during those days cancels it. After 7 days the data is erased and cannot be recovered.
Does the game collect my location or read my contacts?
No. The game does not read contacts, messages, photos or files on your device, and does not collect your precise location. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.
Will it run on my device?
The game requires Android 7.0 or later, or iOS 14.0 or later.
